My new theme has been up a day now and I’ve had pretty good feedback. One thing a couple of the comments refer to though, is that they need this as a Wordpress theme. Now I haven’t really created a Wordpress theme and will need to go figure it a bit, but would appreciate some help on these fronts: - Since this is not a blog, how will this translate into wordpress? - What all will become posts, and what will be pages? I’m guessing the portfolio portion will be posts and contact will be a page. Any other ideas? - Will I need any plugins, etc. to achieve the functionality (apart from jQuery & Cufon, of course)?
I’m really keen on getting started with Wordpress and this seems like a good opportunity.
We can’t really just explain it in a blog post. If you have never developed for Wordpress, you need to spend a few weeks researching how to do it.
