Just wondering. The new format does not show the reviewer’s name and is from do-not-reply@themeforest.net. How can we get more clear feedback on a something in a reasonable amount of time?

Ok but seriously now…

When we have an item rejected with unclear reasons, what method are we able to use to contact the reviewer to get more feedback? I feel like I’m missing something here.

I suppose you know how you reply when soft rejected, for hard rejected only way for further info is official Envato support email with point on reviewer name and rejected item name.

Yeah, this is for reviewers protection. You were not allowed to contact them directly in past, but people had done this when they had an item rejected(including me). It’s better this way, that you don’t know who reviewed your item.. :)

Yeah sure it’s better that you can’t solicit reviewers, but i’m just asking how can I even get any feedback even without knowing the reviewer’s name. Is the only way literally to send an email to support@envato.com and hope I get a reply? I filled out a support ticket on tuesday and haven’t heard anything back, how am I supposed to change anything for the next week?

You fix what they have asked for, if some point is unclear you could ask them through the message form next time you upload, you could say like: I ‘ve done this, this and this, but I’m unclear about … this, I’m sure they will give you more feedback abut the problem in question.

The feedback I got was “This item needs to be more unique for the style it is”.

Then I look and see that three similar themes have been added today.

I would like to know if the reviewer installed my theme to see that it can be configured however you want rather than only how the demo looks, or if he looked at the demo and decided that the way I set it up wasn’t unique enough.

Hello brainbuzzmedia,

Open a support ticket providing us with your username and the name of the rejected item and we’ll make sure it gets to the correct staff. :)

Alright, thanks. I did that on Tuesday, just wanted to make sure that is how we are supposed to do it.
