Hi there!

When you make a gallery for the first time, the gallery post format displays the gallery images in a nice slider. However, when you reuse the gallery images, the slider no longer displays. From looking through the code, it seems that gallery images are linked to parent_id of the post they were first added to. Does this mean that for each time I need to add gallery images, I must upload them multiple times?

I am using the bundle theme alterna but they won’t offer support to those who purchased the theme in the bundle so I figured I’d ask here- I’m sure this must be a common problem for other themes too?

Hey! Yeah that displays the gallery fine- but on some themes the gallery is displayed in a slider- it does this automatically for you when you use gallery images that are attached to the post but on other posts when the gallery images are being reused, it doesn’t work. I’m just wondering what the common solution to this problem is.
