I was wondering how Authors handle their customer’s questions/feedback on Themeforest? Do most authors use the Comment section that is provided or do you direct customer questions to your own Forum that you set up?

If you direct customers to your own forum, how can you tell if they have purchased your item? Is there an easy way to do this without having to cross-check the purchase code yourself?

Thank you.

Hi,

We use a theme that is sold here that is meant to be a knowledgebase, faq and a forum system all combined. For checking the licenses there is a plugin integrated that can be bought on Codecanyon. It is a good way of having everything in one place.

I use https://www.ticksy.com/ – it’s so easier to control support questions, but many users still ask questions in comments section or via email, and instead of sending them to ticksy I answer them using the same channel they have used. So I use 3 tools for that but it’s definietly time to change it – it’s not the best solution

This is a great idea! Thank you for sharing this. May I ask what theme you use?

This seems like a very handy tool. I am going to look into this further. Thank you!

You can post links, except self promoting ;)
