We don’t :D. i mean there are so many pirate sites that are offering our templates for free, so why bother.. Person who wants to steal your code will never purchase your template anyway. They will simply find another one they can rip off.

On the other side, user can see the code behind the template this way. He can se if you commented your code, how clean it is and so on.. So I think not protecting template code is on the one side a good practice..
