Hi guys,

My name is Marc and i am a music composer on Audiojungle. Each time i’m about to post a new song on Aj, i always get to one question : what are you searching for when you search for music? Are you searching by genre, instruments, activity? I know i have to put keywords for you to find my music, but how do you research?

I want to get my music in the right search field but have no clear idea how a video author works for researching is audio/music.I guess you guys are the right people to ask hehe!

I hope my post is clean, but i think a lot of people on Aj are wondering the same thing.

Thanks for your time folks and good luck with your projects! :)

Marc(HBPsounds)

I think we should use ”$1,000,000” as a keyword. Perhaps we will strike gold ;) hehe

I use to search for key words. For example, I needed 3-4 music items for a fairy-tale. It was difficult to search and I wrote so words as “magic”, “witch”, “sorrow” and even “halloween” (last word was most effective for my searching). Also I tried to see by categories (cinematic), but think that key words gave me more tracks.

Keywords are the key?....do VH authors just use there favorite AJ authors…or do you find yourself searching through various authors?

I use all variants. I have my favorite AJ authors and I scan their portfolio from time to time. And I also use to search through various authors with key words. For example, I needed tango music last week, so I taped word “tango”, found 8 pages and listened all tracks.
