I’m in UK and on numerous occassions have tried depositing money on envanto.

It does not like my debit cards and the only credit card it likes is one of my mothers!

Tried both paypal and moneybookers.

Any advice – because I’m not happy! Got better things to do with my time.

do u have a prepaid credit card? btw: you can charge your moneybookers account with a lot of payment options

No don’t have pre-paid credit card.

Failed on five cards last night – two debit and two credit card tried both on paypal and moneybookers.

All have more than sufficient credit in them all.

Success on sixth with paypal and a credit card and a friends credit card. Paid them instead.

At least I know which cards it will take now and which it keeps refusing for no apparent reason…just states that it cannot accept payment on the card…...

Just wondered it this was a regular/known issue – no point wasting more time in support.

Bought my wordpress site eventually and have 10 more to go!! What joy!

To answer your question, no, it’s not a “known issue”. All monetary transactions that occur on the site are handled either by moneybookers or PayPal, so this most likely was an issue with them and/or your credit cards, not Envato.

Sometimes ‘international’ transactions where the cardholder is not present – such as online – are held/stopped by the bank because it is viewed as an area of high fraud – or that was my understanding of it.
