How I can buy Personal Licence Certificates for one theme to different customers

Just wondering: can I buy few times one of the theme (Nexus for example) from the TF account and send a Licence Certificate and theme’s zip to my customers (who are going to use this theme).

Are those customers will be able to receive help from the theme’s author? Does those Licence Certificates will differ from one to another?

Yes, of course! You’d have then 2 different purchase keys which is perfectly acceptable. If the theme author provides help, then absolutely.

Any support will likely need to go through your account – your customers will not have direct access to support. While the purchase codes will differ, they’ll both be linked to the account used to purchase them. This would likely cause problems – most forums will require you to match username and purchase code in order to authenticate.

You should purchase the theme from the account that will be requesting support. If that is the customers’ accounts, you should have them create their own accounts and purchase that way.

Just be careful how you do it. Most authors do not provide support to accounts that did not purchased the file directly. Even if an author has separate support forums they will verify the item purhase code and email address to check if the user has purchased the file.

If you are providing a service like installing WordPress, setting the server up, installing and customizing the theme you would be better with creating separate TF account for each client. This way you will be sure that they can receive support and theme updates in the future.

Pogoking, thanks a lot! It seems to be a good way of doing such legal license transfer to our customers. Do you think it is OK to pay for licences from our PayPal account for the different user’s accounts?

Probably, but I’d clear it with ThemeForest support first so that it is clear that all the accounts that you create are not duplicates.
