A whole bunch of ad designs just came in this week so there should be several runs going through Nov/Dec. Thanks!

Just wanted to follow up with everyone. I did end up receiving my email about my ads being posted (finally). Don’t get your hopes up though, it didn’t increase sales at all. This is a pretty worthless “benefit”. I’m not angry because Envato can’t help who buys what themes, but I just didn’t want anyone to get their hopes up about receiving their ad campaign because it’s completely meaningless. I think my sales actually went down during the time my ads were running. Would have been nice to just receive a $1,000 credit to my account instead :)

+1 I think a $1000 credit would be more worthwhile. I also experienced zero impact on sales.

Nah, I don’t want $1000 even as a credit.

If I can get a simple email from staff congratulating for the $250k sales achievement on the exact same day the milestone reached, that will overtake even a $1000 credit received after 2 months. What actually happens here is the Elite campaign itself become a complex additional department that sucks human hours and obvious errors which requires time and concentration from both author and staff side. Better keep the system simple even if it is less attractive! :)

The price increment tool was the best benefit an Elite author can have – now it isn’t available which means Elite is nothing more than a badge / ego raiser symbol.

I would personally take a $500 credit to my account over a $1000 ad campaign… just saying. (Envato if you want to save $500 or donate that half to charity and just give me cash lemmi know)

Couple of days into my ad campaign and sales are actually down…would have rather had a thousand bucks in my pocket.

Our new ad guy Alex is going to be taking over the Elite campaigns and he’s going to be shaking things up and searching for different opportunities.
