This may be a little out there, but I have always been curious as to how many authors actually get templates approved and are selling daily.
I see there are over 1.4 million marketplace members, but that doesn’t reflect how many authors are actually selling items (having the skill to get something approved).
I have now sold over $197 and I’m ranked just over 1,047th for ThemeForest. That’s a big difference from 1.4 million…
What do you guy’s think? Any insight?

Well, technically ThemeForest only. I have noticed some authors have difficulties getting their GraphicRiver projects approved as templates on TF
You have to admit though… 1,403 authors out of the entire world is quite impressive for those very few – to say the least.

funny, I’m 237th without even one WP theme ~1400 authors from ~1.4M members are what… 0.1%
