I’ve bought about 180 .. Used about 20-30 ..
Most of them were back in the day when i was working on AD and saw a lot of cool items which i thought that i would like to own and use but never had the time to make use of them ..
Most of the items i’ve really used were for direct clients work.. A few were for my personal use..
I’m at 13
About 3 to 4
95, I some times don’t have time to create, so I use other ones Templates, I know it helps them to grow on the market place, an in the end I rate with 3 to 5 stars
Only 2 until now. And I would certainly buy more, but very often I do not understand very well the license terms (especially for the graphics) so sometimes I prefer buying from somewhere else, where I understand the license terms and where I am sure I can use that in my products.
Unfortunately, I am sure I am not the only one not understanding the licenses. I had at least 2 buyers who bought a regular license of my item and they asked for support on how to install the item on 2-3 domain. I am almost sure this is not allowed. Also, I see in referral links that my items is even used in theme sold on Themeforest, but I have never sold an extended license or something.
Usually people think that buying the regular license of an item is enough and they can use it anywhere, multiple times.
I think there should be a special license, somthing like “Envato license”, meaning you can use an item as part of another item you wish to sell on Envato marketplaces.
@greenline.
I think you are in the majority, as am I.
I have no clue how the licensing works, and it all gets very confusing. So I go elsewhere esp for graphics.
