Hi all. How many rejections did you get until your first approval? I already got 2+1 rejections ( 3 is a bad number for me ) :) i don’t give up but sometimes i get really sad because of this. Need some inspirations from your experience. Thanks. I hope this is right place to open this thread.

hi, I started a similar thread after my third rejection.
Thread
. My third rejection which I thought is the best of my ability is still on display at Magneo.
After 3 more rejections I am Here Magneo.
It is still rejected.Bit I think i have learnt a lot on the way. Even top authours like KREISI say they have had rejections. So its so common for a newbie.Every time the reviewer gives a vague rejection message you are required to search deeper. That way not only will you improve what the reviewer expects but also many things which the reviewer missed and you were able to pick up.
I have put some useful links for you to go through. Hope it helps. I might not be expert enough to guide your theme to approval but i will become an expert one day. Until then its a fellow new author helping another new author.

And out of context you can listen to this song if you are depressed. The lyrics is below(slightly edited).
Happy feet
/Happy Feet 2- Bridge of light/
When you think
Hope is lost
And giving up
Is all you got,
Blue turns black,
Your confidence is cracked,
There seems no turning back from here
Sometimes there isn’t an obvious explanation
While the holiest stars can feel the strongest palpitations

That’s when you can build a bridge of light,
That’s what turns the wrong so right
That’s when you can’t give up the fight
On your feet, I made a storm
You’re convinced that you’re all alone
Look at the stars, it’s straight up the dark
You’ll find your heart shines like the sun

Let’s not let their anger get us lost
And the need to be right comes at way too high costs

Deep breath, take it on the chin
But don’t forget to let the love back in
That’s when you can build a bridge of light,
That’s what turns the wrong so right
That’s when you can’t give up the fight

All the best

Best answer: However many you need to get until you’re skills have improve enough to bring quality to the table! The only purpose of rejections are to improve your quality!
