I am vegetarian for a few years now and though I was always a meat lover, I feel much better now without the meat. I am not completely vegan, but I try to avoid as much dairy products. In the beginning I thought I wouldn’t eat as tasty as I did, but actually I enjoy the food I eat much more now then I did before. If I cook for people, they often don’t even notice there is not meat in it.
Really cool :) If you don’t mind I’ll recommend a great book for you – called ‘The China Study’. You’ll find a lot of great info there.

Yeah I know the book. I have not read it, but I saw a few weeks ago the documentary/film Forkes over Knives where Campell was also a big part of it. I can really recommend that documentary. A real eye opener.

Hi OlexandrIgnatov!

I’m a vegan (and a frutarian in the Summer) :-)

I try to eat mostly organic and avoid processed food.

I was a vegetarian before (I became a vegetarian since I turned 18) and I became a vegan last year.

No regrets so far. Would never turn back and look forward for the Summer as the best thing is to be a Frutarian. It makes you happy! Everyone noticed it :-D

Peace + <3

Interesting topic.

1 Year vegan here, ever since I saw “behind the scenes” footage at meat and dairy farms :S

Feeling better than ever too! I do take one supplement for it (Vitamin B12).

Although I wouldn’t mind removing meat completely from my diet, I still don’t want to remove fish, and also other animal products, like dairy products, eggs, and especially honey – honey is very good :)

However, in the part of the world where I live, it is very hard to avoid meat because 90% of the meals contain it – and quite often I am not able to cook by myself, so I gotta eat what I can find :D But whenever I can, I try to avoid meat – not because I wanna be a vegetarian, but simply because I don’t think I really need it that much :)

I’m a veggetarian. But one who is happy for meat to be eaten as long as ot is well sourced. Many rare breeds would have died out long ago if it were not for the meat trade.
