My group wants to make video holiday greetings for clients.
Clients will stand in front of a green screen, and we will feed background in. How is that for licensing? Does each greeting constitute as a use? What is the royalty free cost?

It depends how you’re going to use it.
Are you going to customize the a Videohive file various times, in different ways? That’s the clincher.
If you’re just sending the rendered results of one customization out to lots of clients it’s a single standard licence you need.
I am running a promotion where clients are coming in to record separate greetings.
I have a green screen and want to show this video in the back ground while my clients say season greetings in the fore ground.
People can use the greetings on their web page, post it to face book, what ever.

Okay…. interesting one. I’ve flagged the thread for staff reply, so our licensing experts will swing by and take a look.
Technically it sounds like lots of different customizations, but gut feeling says it’s all the same job.
Let’s see what our licensing experts say…

- Attended a Community Meetup
- Repeatedly Helped protect Envato Marketplaces against copyright violations
- Bought between 50 and 99 items
- Canada

- Beta Tester
- Contributed a Tutorial to a Tuts+ Site
- Envato Staff
That’s a little more tricky
Here’s what I got from our license expert:
Since it’s a new client each time, that makes it a new project which needs a new license.
Thanks!
