Once I learned you could max out the new 2012 MBP to 16GB for about the same price apple charges for 8GB I bought one and ordered the upgrade off newegg. This thing flies!
I think you are right premitheme I better use 16 GB before using 32 GB. And I tried to get 2, 16 GB as I have two slots but couldn’t find any? they offered 2*8GB=16GB . I’m thinking of buying an imac but confused with the configuration & the price.
hey! premitheme can i ask you a favor I like your themes & I really like the item switcher. I’ve the one by ThemeProvince but I can’t make it like yours. I’ve seen others with the same kind but can’t exactly make one of my own can you please give me yours with the resources. I would really appreciate it if you do.
I have 4 GB on my desktop.
4GB
Don’t see why would i need more then that at this time.
12GB in my iMac
8 GB on my MBP
Just FYI guys.
I’m now running 16GB for about 6 months. This is more than enough for web design and development – currently.
In the worst cases, with my machine running for several days without shutdown (I used to use sleep rather than shutdown, restart work faster
), I never get less than 6-7 GB of free RAM, this is just great!
