Hey there,

I’ve just finished an art course in college and for the last 3-4 years I’ve been designing websites, logos and a few other things, majority of the paid work I’ve received has been freelancing and nothing long term till now.

There’s a long term design job that I may be taking soon and I’ve just got a few questions for you guys; so hopefully you’ll be able to help me out.

The job will most likely include the following; Website design, Logo design, iPhone design (Perhaps other platforms too), and some HTML /CSS/jQuery coding (Maybe more languages, not entirely sure yet).

So, my first question and only question for now is, what do you think I should get paid per hour?

I’m honestly not sure, I’ve got an estimate on what I should get paid but I’d like to have you’re opinion as well.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, no one can really answer that question for you. I always recommend using the FreelanceSwitch rate calculator to give you an idea of where to start. Hope that helps!

I wouldn’t take on a job that requires a Jack-of-all-trades. This type of work makes you a robot and doesn’t really improve your skills. That’s what I learned the hard way. But that’s just me and it’s offtopic. :)

Regarding pay, whatever makes you comfortable + a little extra ;)

Travis’ link above is cool, but I feel it requires me to be too much of a planner – which I’m not…
