How much time you take to create a new track?

Share how much time you take to create a new project?:) I have about a week or more away.

Hi, Goldenheart! I know, maybe it’s quite bad, but i takes 3-5 hours for me to produce and master the track (I understand that i need to spend more time with that). But sometimes i need a couple of days to finish my work – and it’s because of my full-time job at TV-channel When i have inspiration – i’m trying to do all the thing as quickly as i can till it’s gone

Basically 2 hours to 2 days for electro tracks and 2 days to 14 days for orchestral music.

Experience counts for sure – I did my first CD in 3+ months and my latest in 3 weeks. I like that

AJ tracks… 14 minutes. 1 dollar per minute.

Everything between 10 minutes (for a logo) and uncounted hours… it’s really depending on the complexity (not even quality). But often 2-4 hours for easy uplifting music, including Mix and Mastering. Yes, orchestral tracks are those who take usually a lot more time.

How come people buy music that requires 2 hours to be finished? A really strange world we live in.

well, somehow sad, isn’t it? But it’s a matter of costs but also depending on the song! As long the tracks are not more expensive at AJ, i think, many of us save time if possible. But very often i spend more time to finish a track because i love it to do this !

From a few hours, in a very easy track, until a week or more, in a very complex track. But it’s very subjective.
