I’ve been around longer than “internet” (not it’s origin), the 386 processor, the double sided 5.25” floppy, Microsoft Windows, C++, Dell, Gateway, Cisco – and most these other billion dollar tech companies.

Computer memory was measured in kb, home computers didn’t have hard drives and your screen was 2 colors.

The cell phone weighted 2 LBS (1Kilo | 32oz), was more than 1 Foot (30 cm) long, battery had 1 hour of talk time, and its memory could store 30 phone numbers.

You’ll have to excuse me while I find my way back to my coffin …

lol me too. I remember my first C64 (commodore 64), and coding programs by hand in basic… dial up modems 16.6 and ASCII message boards… at least one cool thing about being a dinosaur is we’ve seen and appreciate all the progress over the years :) will turn 50 soon. and yeah i still play video games and play electric guitar so I’m still hip… yeah baby (said like Austin Powers). (Factoid: I’ve played every good video game Ever released, since pong,day1 of video games…how cool is that. best early video game was super NES football, and atari 2600 games… now it’s COD/AC/SaintsRow/GTA)

My first computer was also a Commodore 64 – well, technically it was a Tandy, but that was more of an electronic typewriter than a “computer”.

When Google goes down everybody else has panic attacks – we have flashbacks!! LMAO!!

Not much of a gamer here. Ever since BASIC – I’ve been a developer ~ 13 years ago I made the switch to “web development” (for what it was back then) and never looked back.
