I have a huge doubt about TF: how is possible that they approved ugly themes like this: ( – sorry, I can’t provide a link to this theme, TF would ban this post – ) What I mean is, and I am sure is a common post on this forums: how really do TF reviewers the process to approve the themes? Not the same standards that they mention over and over on post like this
Please, just a clear, CLEAR answer to this.
Do you mean themes in all categories?
In my humble opinion some themes are more useful than beatiful. But don’t go overboard, most themes are really nice.
While I wouldn’t be so…direct, I’d agree that recently there’s been a few themes that aren’t the prettiest bunnies in the forest. They are the exception rather than the rule so have a good dig around – there are some fantastic themes out there!
IMHO , some of the themes recently approved (in last couple of months) are uglier than free themes.

that particular theme sells? if yes then this “oh my god is ugly” debate is pointless. what you may find nice I may hate, or the opposite
@doru – IMO . We’re talking about truly ugly templates for everyone. There’s no accounting for taste.
So, what do you think is the priority to get approval: functionality – design? I know the Design is that sells, but how much is important functionality for TF in comparison with design? I mean, if you theme looks great but is very simple in the functionality (like just info and no jquery).
My landing page just got rejected, it’s just shocking to see what got approved by others after I got rejected.
