How to be a rockstar freelancer

Hello Guys, I want some comments about the book ‘how to be a rockstar freelancer’. If I get positive comments I will invest my $29

To be honest – I haven’t had the chance to read it yet. Collis sent me a copy a few days ago, but I’ve been so busy. I plan on reading it this weekend.

Kool There are some other books by the same website. Googled them got really positive response too. But I will buy the book for sure!

I know… I’m biased because I work for Envato But I used to freelance (for about 4 years), and if this book had been available before I started, it would have helped me dramatically.

Being able to produce stuff does not equate to being able to freelance successfully. It’s a brilliant investment in my opinion, and written by two individuals who freelanced very successfully for a few years (I know this from first-hand observation!).

I’ve recommended it to my sister and cousin who are both creatives and both have just finished their degrees, for what it’s worth. If I can recommend it to them I can recommend it to you.

Oh, I wish Collis can send me a copy of that too

As an independent observer I can tell you it’s useful if you’re just starting up, there’s a lot of great tips in it and it’s very well written. It does lack details however and it’s somewhat of a light read, especially compared to it’s most important competition (which I won’t mention here for obvious reasons). It’s like web 2.0 to summarize it I think it’s well worth $29 though, you should get it.

I just grabbed it last night and I was impressed with the outline/overview of what it covers, at least. Very good to beginning freelancers and people trying to figure out just how to go about it.
