Since there is no archives for the rejection of item. I recommend all author please include the rejection comments by the author in your re-upload reviewer notes. For example:

Your theme was rejected due to non-compatible with IE6 .

You can put there: non-compatible with IE6 – solved. ( If you manage to solve this ).

Any other suggestion?

I write this because sometimes we really can’t remember what is the error or reason we rejected your item. There is a huge number of upload everyday! :)

Kailoon,

I agree completely. It’s virtually impossible to remember every theme. A quick refresher would help a great deal.

I want to understand which are the criteria for the approvel to sel html templates? Because i don’t find any information. I recently upload an template and i receve a vague mail that This File Did Not Meet Our Criteria. This is not an serios and professional response!!! Fr those who claim to have all the instructions for templates i don’t think is corect to send a vague mail. When i buy templates of here i am in the criteria??? Please behave like an profesional and write with details the motivations. Thanks

I had to fix 2 small issues with my template and I reuploaded the whole thing yesterday already. I just saw this though so I didn’t add the reviewer’s comments with the reupload. What shall I do?

Hi I’m kind of surprised that our theme was rejected. This is the reason given by the reviewer:

“Unfortunately, your template doesn’t stand out enough to be sold on ThemeForest. It’s a nice and functional layout; however, there are many free themes similar to this on the web. Consider working on the layout and “style” of the theme a bit more to make it stand out.”

Here is a link to the template: http://www.maxleondalheimer.de/themeforest/index.html

We included some nice flash buttons and tried to make the layout stand out of all the other templates here on themeforest.

Now, I don’t question your expertise but could anyone give us some hints how to improve the theme in orer to be accepted by Themeforest? :-)

thanks! Twos

I was thinking. Like, once you’ve uploaded an item and its been rejected. When you go to the upload page, there should be another button: Upload rejected item. That way the same people can review it, so it doesn’t cause too much controversy :) (I’ve heard of designs nearly approved by one reviewer and ignored by another)

This is a pretty big idea though :(

Cheers,
