Why not start with building some items to sell on Envato’s marketplaces (Themeforest, CodeCanyon)? To begin with, it’s a great way to make some extra money. Second, many authors here secure freelance gigs through the marketplace sites, so it’s a double win!

Do you have any work to show?

What kind of category will be better for beginners? I have some experience in Photoshop, HTML+CSS with Bootstrap 3, PHP and jQuery but i can’t to create a hard project. I am not professional, but i always read articles from tuts+.

It depends in which area you’re most skilled. If you’re a good designer, the PSD category might a be good start. The design requirements are rather high in this category though, so if you feel you’re more of a developer rather then a designer, the HTML category might be a better starting point.

Also, I would stay clear of the freelance websites mentioned above. Unless you’re happy competing with 100,000’s of cheapers from all over the globe, more then happy to undercut you, these sites are not a great place to find work.

I have used sites elancer, odesk, etc, both as a contractor and as a project manager and from sides I honestly did not like ‘em. Yes, there are some good freelancers to be found, but they’re far and between.
