Hi guys, i have just a quick question. When you sell Site Templates HTML do you usually encrypt the code to prevent it from being downloaded or copied?

Thanks

Most of us don’t I think. When someone wants rip then he/she does it somehow anyway. When you don’t encrypt, then buyers can look up your code too.

All the best,
Kris

Obscure and minify your code, css and js. Try to make some funtion on your js to allow only your own server. And be careful about obscuring html as it woulc break your layout on concrete browsers. The latest advice: don’t check if your template is ripped all around the web. It is. ;)

Best tool for minifying css&js: http://refresh-sf.com/yui/
