Ok, so what I would do….

  • change the headings and text to sans-serif, probably Arial or so
  • add more light effects in the bg image, spice it up a bit
  • about and contact top slider make semi transparent
  • work on footer a bit

I hope this helps. Keep up!

Here are a few things:

1) Your headlines don’t really go with the page style both in terms of both color and font-family. I don’t think bright white on black goes with the design of the page and isn’t great to look at in terms of contrast.

2) It looks kind of strange with just a headline, large but narrow image and some small blue text. I think that makes it feel empty to an extent. I would build some sort of semi-transparent container for each project block. It could be done quite creatively and using some of the colors you’ve used, would go with the page and tie things together really well.

3) Your projects have headlines and a link to the site but no information. I would suggest adding maybe a show/hide info. type thing to each project block.

4) Like segen said, the footer needs work. You might also want to put in some example text instead of lorem ipsum so that section makes more sense. As it is, it’s just a big block of text and doesn’t explain what it’s for.

5) About page looks pretty good. I would suggest splitting your large paragraph into two smaller paragraphs. That would be more like a real-world scenario.

6) Contact page looks pretty good but your input boxes have lots of padding below the input text. It looks like a mistake to me. I’m in Firefox by the way.

I hope this helps. :)
