The past is a foreign country, they do things differently there.

I am sorry next time I’ll try and be more straight forward. It seems not everyone is familiar with metaphors or plain English.

Using the previous sentace I can now explain why I wrote that sentace.

Well actually most of us are selling in the future! I’m 10 hrs behind Envato timezone and starting from 2pm italian time I’m already making money in the day after! :)

While I’m many kilo-miles away, on the winter I’m happy to be in the same time zone with Australia. On the summer just 1 hour difference.

Best Regards, Andrey

Love it when your angry, you make sense ;)

Ok so the request would be for envato to sync your ( users/authors ) timezone with Envato systems.

Plus there is a distinct difference between timezones and timestamps, but thats for another day.

Hope you get sorted

Who said I was angry, I was just trying to talk your language :)

So you probably never used a phone with autocorrect. Or never had a typo. Seems like you are really bored to laugh that much on such a silly typo.

I noticed this, but I know that everything ticks over to the next day at 1pm for me.

Does it really make a big difference what the timezone says? In the land down under its the 20th now, where as I’m still eating lunch :)

I understand what you mean MoeHaydar. I am also 9h behind, and in the beginning, as an author, was strange, then you just get used to it. You just have to remember it :) And the most important thing to remember: Withdrawal time limit arrives earlier , a lot of people forget this! :)

For statistics purposes, it’s a bit strange also. For example, I have the most number of sales at 4AM (Envato time). Well… that’s a strange hour to have a lot of sales… but in the US, this 4AM mean it’s like 1PM from the day before, or something like that.

When we are selling stuff worldwide we need a reference timezone. After we get used to it, it’s ok, but I understand it can be strange.

Cheers

Maybe someone could make a little tampermonkey script to display the australian time on top of the screen when on an envato marketplace.

Don’t you have daylight saving time in Russia?
