they always seem to want the same “clean, minimalistic and modern” website and ask you to use your creativity, just so they can tell you later “yeah this is not what I had in mind”

“Clean and spacious” attracts the user. A “colorful jungle” attracts the client. Then once they realize the users are experiencing super slow load times and embedded Youtube vids take forever to show up they come back to you asking to make the website clean again. Even when we’re RIGHT, they can NEVER be WRONG…..

I did not name a person or item or even pointed to anyone :) was talking in general. But to be completely honest I don’t mind you flagging my post since I guess I could have figured that will happen. If it can prevent things like that from happening, then it means it was for the “greater good” :)

I would love that Envato takes a bit deeper look into refunding people. Like make a quick check if they downloaded the item before they requested a refund or similar.

Anyway, my apologies.

When client something doesn’t like he rates 1 star, but once everything is fine there is two ways: doesn’t put any ratings, or just comment like: Everything Works. Thanks.

i hate when client ask for some work to do and when we ask for credentials for hosting and ftp.

he is like we said some alien language to him. then our boss in company tell us that explain everything to him. and when we explain everything. he is like i don’t know what is hosting and all this.

so after that we just ask than how your website is showing up in browser? just explain that. he says his previous managed everything.

so when we say then please ask for these credential to them. he says fine.

now after 5 days he come up and ask for work progress. and i was like what work? and even my boss force me that say sorry and i was like sir why sorry because he didn’t mention any work and didn’t provide any credential. so on 5th day he explain that his previous developer gone AWOL.

so now i was like what i can do about that. and later he keeps poking to my boss and my boss was really angry on me and say that do his work.

after these kind of experience i feel like i am really alien and whole world dont understand me..:( :(
