Ask for customizations and says that will pay after will make some money with that project.
Makes presale questions and are told very clearly, NO, what they are asking is not possible with the product.
Still purchases the product and then writes to support asking for customization’s. Finally rates item 4 star which according to them is very generous. Then they are back for more support
Asks for customization’s and offers to pay $$$$ dollars. You agree on a sum. When the work is completed and you notify the client, instead of making payment they ask for all these little things. Which you end up doing just so you get paid.
When you receive payment it turns out to be Canadian dollars
After the small loss, you also realize that you didn’t consider Paypal’s commission. More loss. Your only consolation at this point is that you at-least got paid.
I am interested in having a customized buddypress theme exclusive to me. I want to build a website like internations.org on buddypress.
Let me know how much will it cost and if you can provide some mocups for the same ASAP. It is kind of urgent job so prompt reply would be appreciated.Me: €130.000 + VATIs it 1300? Or 130?
I think that:
- The client is not used to having the dot as thousands separator, and thinks you meant to write 1300.00 or 130.00.
- The client expected a maximum estimate of “a hundred bucks, software is cheap or free anyway” (i.e. 130 Euro was already surprisingly high).
- The client did not understand the irony behind your reply.
It’s a bit like some customers on Elance:
I want to have a full clone of League of Legends. Specifications:
- Lots of maps.
- Lots of weapons and spells.
- Lots of monsters.
- Lots of quests.
- Everything else from League of Legends.
Budget: 400 USD
Best part: the project received 24 proposals.
I hate client when he or she doesn’t give an update on a project that was completed…
Says Hi when I’m drunk and getting to know him really good. Oh wait, I love that !
buy Stock footage which they’ve CLEARLY SEEN in preview…then give it a 1 star rating?
A client gave me very clear instructions
I need this theme for personal use because I’m going to launch a website which will be Wordpress based. I just need a theme and after that I can do work upon this independently. One thing you have to keep in your mind that, I’ll upload this theme to Themeforest in order to verify the grade of design. If Themeforest accepts your theme then I will pay you the money. I’m not going to sale this theme on Themeforest probably.
And when I quoted $3000, he was very offended and said he had lot of developers under him who will do the work for him for a lot less
says “I don’t have a budget for this one at the moment …., but you know what ?? a lot of big budget stuff are on the way … So let’s do this now for free so we can rock and roll in future !”
Buys the Product in a hurry without checking the description, demo or asking any presale questions. Finds the Product doesn’t work the way they assumed it will. Comes back to blame the Seller that the Product doesn’t work the way they expected (while it perfectly works the way it is described)...
