I lost all my info, what is your advice?

A few days ago I lost all my information, there was a power failure that damage the power supply, the board and the hard drive where I had all my information, I’m at a point where I think I’m from scratch, I lost videos, photos , memories, papers, projects that had been initiated, have lost I have nothing on my computer right now, I have learned the lesson in bad ways, always have a backup and UPS

I wonder what ways do you use to prevent such incidents Use tools like Dropbox? or use external hard drives for backups? etc, etc, any advice you can give me is the grateful, because I would not want to have to lose all the information that had collected and made so hard and so long

I attempted recover the damaged hard disk information but most files are damaged

decided to start over, but I would not go through the same

what is your advice?

I’m using SkyDrive (25 gb of free space) where I’m backing up all my stuff.

Sometimes for myself worry about electricity, anytime can happen. I always backup my file once per week with 2 my hard drive external. And when got error if use Windows, as miseld mention using HirenBootCD for the best. Since I don’t have UPS.

I really love that software when my computer not working anymore since 4 weeks ago and use my laptop right now

no I can’t, I had to buy a new power supply, new board and bought a new hard drive, but them come tomorrow at this time I am in a laptop of a friend

I Know you lost may things, that has happen to me also, I lost most o my works, but we back up some of our works without knowing, Here in graphicriver you can re download all your Item, In your email you can find some of your sent works, etc.
