You should also try using this tool, I notice you have some issues with typography spacing! Try this tool out, it’s amazing!
As for the rest, pretty cute design! Ivor nailed it! Polish it up a lot!

Well i must say many thanks, to be honest I wasn’t expecting such a reaction as I usually get one comment which isn’t very helpful!Like I mentioned my previous design got rejected for being too consistant so I thought I would just put something together with different element.
I might have a go at finishing it off.
Many thanks again!
This suits better in Site Templates though. Code it up.
Hi Ivor,
Code the Slash design or the Martom?

With one solid design i meant Balance, your design still can have different parts…
I think you need to work on the typography, You can get some pretty cool fonts from google webfonts and some nice textures from subtlepatterns.com. Apart from that I think its a pretty cool design. Keep it up
I think if you would do the following things it will increase the chances of being approved:
- Choose another/multiple font(s): Arial everywhere looks a bit dull
- Improve/refine your main menu … add some style to it or make it so it has a particularity not just regular font…
- Make the headings/subheadings match… one thing I noticed it’s hard to distinguish what is a heading or subheading .. methodology vs flow
- Use better font size and maybe check some elite members how they space everything out
- Make the recent post section cleaner… links with blue regular text with white… your text & links are the same color (BAD)...
- Maybe use more color shades in text/links etc… same idea as the twitter line…
- Use better font sizes & spacing to make the item look more professional
Hope it helps.
