Very intense, well done, specially the retina part. Geile Mucke!
Loving this. I like to see this type of creativity done more.
How did you end up with this video? Did you script it or just added elements over time?

I have been doing visualizations of songs (most being my brother’s songs) for a while now, and it simply begins by me hearing a song that triggers my urge to create a video for it. I generally do stuff and delete stuff, trial-and-error-eske.
BAD PULSE has 4 versions. The first I didn’t like after having created almost 2 minutes of the video, the second I got bored of, etc.. until the fourth version came, which kept me going.
A lot of it is scripted. Every single sound and frequency is displayed visually, even though most people won’t notice, and doing that by hand can be a hassle. Some parts, like the eye’s animation and timing, or the black shapes at 4:45, were manually animated. There are several things I’m still not happy about the video, but I had to release it someday.
Oh and by the way, here’s a Behance post regarding this project. Includes some stills and additional information. I hope you enjoy!https://www.behance.net/gallery/BAD-PULSE-audiovisual-imperfection/14928977
It felt like some kind of hypnosis stuff! Excellent work!
Very impressive! Music is great too. I was going to say that you should do something for Aphex Twin, then I saw your work for ‘come to daddy’
some gorgeous bits in there, really nice work how long that take you to work on?
Hard to say, as I don’t keep track of my time when working on personal projects. As I have mentioned before, I worked on this project for a while, often changing my mind and starting new versions from scratch. After giving up on the third version, I created what you saw on video. The fourth and last version, i.e. the final product, constitutes 145 working files, which represents ca. 100-120 working days.
