It looks good but for it to pass the new requirements a lot of the framework features as it stands would have to be separated out into individual plugins (mainly shortcodes, custom post types and possibly the sidebar generator). Until that happens we won’t be able to use it for themes sold here.
Definitely, a few things need to be changed, I’m hoping some people will contribute and help it fit the new needs. I don’t have the time on my hands that I used to have
JoeMcKie saidAnyway, until the final list of requirements is published, I will try to help you with the framework because I like the idea and implementation. Thank you for your effort. First of all we need to eliminate errors and notices http://d.pr/i/VRte
freshthemedev saidHmm, it wasn’t my understanding that frameworks were completely disallowed as this would render most of TF’s themes useless… I think the guidelines are more strict, but certainly not restrictive.
Hey JoeMcKie, nice work. but looking into new theme requirements it looks like we won’t be allowed to use theme frameworks any more as a part of a theme, what’s you thoughts on that?
Look great and very promising. Unfortunately, I can not download from Github (500: Internal Server Error.) Am I missing something?
Hey, I’m not sure actually. Perhaps a problem with Github. have you tried downloading again?
I tried several times, with different browsers. Still failed
Do you have the other link? Really want to try this. Thanks.
Are you two able to download the ZIP or anything? I can upload that if you need me to.
Here’s a link for anyone who is unable to download directly from GitHub!
Please ignore link above, this is an updated version with key updates!

Just downloaded. Will try and check. Thanks for your hard work, Joe!
