You can see other approved and with nice sales themes here and see which kind of features they have.

I develop a lot of themes during my day, and the themes have about ~900 files each one…

Just in main folder are about +20 like index.php, category.php, tag.php and much more..

Sure these files include Layout Builder, Admin Panel, Portfolios and shortcodes…

Just need a style.css header footer index so yeah techniquely it’s not enough I was being sarcastic though

If your theme would consist only of index.php, it would be pretty irrational to exclude header/footer stuff in seperate files, agreed? :)
