I think it should be a job board that related to marketplace items, else, I don’t think it is necessary since we already have a job board on Freelanceswitch. I think it can be job related to theme/template ( marketplace items ) customizations and conversion of PSD templates.

3D ocean can give to customer many options too:

1. To build models. 2. To map and texture existing model. 3. To render model. (Even 2d artists can find themselves interesting in such option. If they want to include specific model to their design they can ask 3d artist to render it in specific way and resolution)

4. To rig character and animate it in specific way….

And more.

Then graphicriver can edit templates that buyers buy here which will also include preparing template for printing (bleeds, guides, etc.).

Isn’t it what the “item requests” section is for?

My thoughts exactly..

Or.. If someone starts a thread with the word “hiring” or “job” it automatically redirects them to Freelance Switch. :P

“Hiring employees, anybody with advice?”

That would be a problem.

A lot of good discussion and nice ideas here :)

I think the forums members on here do a really great job of finding job threads and replying to them, and I think a lot of people like to use http://freelanceswitch.com so IMO , I’m just not sure how necessary it is at this point :)

We had this conversation before, and in the end it petered out that they didn’t want marketplaces to turn into job boards.
