OMG Best News for the Day and early present from themeforest to us authors. But I would still compensate for ie6 if it’s one of those sites targeted for business. But if its for online portfolios, I think it wouldn’t be necessary for it because mostly young audiences with updated browsers (I presume) uses these. :p

Nice :) Can somebody from staff suggest to the bosses if they can create a poll which every buyer will see on homepage or their profiles? Simple question like “Do you need support for IE6 ?” and the answer yes or no.

Because the canceling this official requirement is one thing, but if the the poll will show lets say 80% buyers will want the IE6 support, I am pretty sure almost all authors here will continue in IE6 support. Its always a matter of what our buyers want, not the global stats of IE6 users.

It would be nice as a buyer if templates at least had an IE6 “Upgrade your browser suggestion box” If they are not going to be ie6 friendly.

I know that’s easy to add, but some buyers might not know how to add that.

-1 No – We as smart authors will continue to support IE6 , I mean is a plus you know, so you can earn more with IE6 support and even more if is a corporate site, so we don’t need polls etc just consider to support it if you want :)
