Yay!
Cool! I’ll be able to submit fancy stuff that IE6 can’t handle!!! YAYY !!!!!
Great
Sweet!
which statistics were used to get these figures?
the 2 web sites I maintain are predominantly IE with IE8 leading the way and a fairly large percentage of IE6 users. so dropping IE6 supoort really does depend on your audience, not on general usage stats. I guess if we used these stats we would drop support for Chrome, Safari, and the other small ones as well, cause they are not big enough.
in the end, look after your customers and they will look after you, regardless of which browser they use.

I knew it was going to happen, as the October stats were on 10.2%
:D
YAY !
btw, if you have an item, you can now boast with “IE6 Supported”
Thank you guys for this great news … I think it’s time for all of us – designers – to push ie6 out of the game.

That’s an excellent point, I mean it is in the compatability box thing but having it on the Item Description is a good idea for those casual scanners lol.
Awesome, just made a new theme I’m developing that much easier! Kill IE6 !

These browsers already support standards, IE6 does not. There’s nothing to drop.
