I really don’t have a clue how to solve this. I have made all the possible drop down z-idexes as high as possible but it doesnt make a difference in IE the drop down menu appears below the content fader. Please, please if anyone knows how to solve this. You can view the code:
It works perfect in FF.
Problem solved, now I just have a transparency conflict in IE I don’t know how to fix.

No its a problem with css transparency. The holder div of a slider is semi transparent and the span inside it is also semi transparent. Just doesnt work in IE when the holder has the trasparency applied to it. You can see the example on the slider on the demo i linked to in the first post.
Haha just realised I could use an image instead of css filter. All is well now, thanks for the post as it actually gave me the idea
