I remember at one point Jeffery saying this wouldn’t be required by October 1st. Did that change or do we no longer have to support it?

When it goes under 10%, it will be dropped. If trends continue it should be January when support is dropped (going by w3schools as Jeffrey has been).

We’re getting there. 2.1% left.

Hopefully it’ll be our Christmas present and it’ll be dropped this December because according to the stats, it should be.

Let’s say this. Once that percentages gets below 11%, it’ll become optional. Based on the .5 – 1% it’s losing every month, that should be by December.

I was just looking at the w3schools site: IE Stat and I was wondering if it is still needed to add IE6 support when creating new templates from now on?
I mean, for the moment there is only 12.1% of IE6 usage, IE6 is a real pain in the A.. so from my point of view I’ll just stop supporting it from now one

You should remember that IE6 support is still required by a ton of people, including myself, that purchase templates from this site. I’d think twice before dropping it once it becomes optional.
I don’t see a “ton of people” posting “I WANT IE6 SUPPORT !”.
So, yeah..
