Just reading that IE9 will only work on windows7
There’s a download link for a 7 version and Vista version.

True but for what i know the official version will only work on windows 7, and if you know the company(ms) you’ll know that they always make strange choises

Well, another step towards Internet Explorer disappearing from the market.

Considering Windows XP accounts for 53 per cent of operating systems, compared to 22 per cent for Windows 7, I can forsee IE8 becoming another IE6 that will be around for decades.

“Ryan Gavin, senior director of IE business and marketing, said Microsoft would not put IE9 hardware acceleration features in the current version of its browser, IE8 , or back port IE9 to older PCs running Windows XP.”

Has anyone noticed IE9 Beta not rendering Cufon at all? :D
Yep. I noticed that too. I’m just hoping because it’s still in beta.

Looks like the cufon issue was fixed on their site yesterday; :chuckle:

“Fixed IE9 . IE9 now uses the canvas engine, which is less prone to future breakage.”

IE9 is getting a bigger browser share each month, and it’s still beta. :S
