If you could add one thing to ThemeForest....

Hey guys. We’re always looking for ways to make ThemeForest more user friendly and profitable for all involved.

If any of you ever have any specific suggestions, please leave a comment. At only three months old, we still have plenty of room for improvement.

The first one that pop in my mind: better text editing. Such as: the ability to easily edit templated description, the ability to preview Textile mistakes and eventualliy disable it.

I’m going to say a chat room (IRC channel). I think it would really bring the community a lot more together than the forum currently does, but maybe that’s just me.

New .PSD Category

As a professional designer I realy think a PSD Category would be great becouse a lot of designers can’t code & a lot of coders can’t design

The options are almost unlimited

Web pages, Ad Banners, Headers, Buttons, Interfaces, Stationary, Brochures, Newsletters, Flyers, Postcards, Business Cards, Letterheads, Datasheets, Menus, Posters, Greeting Cards, CD Booklets, Logos, PS Styles, Brushes, and much more…

Im with postream, I just submitted my first theme and I would have loved it if their was a live preview of your theme description before your submitted it. Sure you can go back later, but it would be a huge help to see how it looks before you submit it, I didnt even know what tags are allowed to be used.

I also really like the .psd idea that Steve had, that would just be awesome.

Great thoughts. Keep them coming. I promise you that each of them will be considered. I think a psd category would be great as well.

After everyone has left their opinion, I’ll sort through the suggestions and make some recommendations to my boss.

I know its been said before, but I still think a buyer’s list would be great. Or just some way to notify them all if you release a newer version. Maybe have it be automated when a newer version is released (so people don’t try to use it for spamming about other topics).

Clark, the buyers list has been addressed a lot and I dont think it’s going to happen…BUT I totally agree with some sort of notification email through the system to notify buyers that a file has been updated…

I agree with the update notification suggestion. That would be extremely handy!

Yeah, would be great for buyers to be noticed when file is updated. Also I totally agree with chat room.
