I’m doing EXACTLY the same thing this year.
7×3m. One end with a completly sound proofed vocal booth for recording.
Acoustic plasterboard, rockwool insulation. Red dimmable light in the vocal booth for ‘ambience’, skirting boards that are on a hinge that ‘lift’ up so that I can run cables from one end of the studio to the other without it looking messy…

Ha! We’re working out of an Oceo outdoor office – it’ a good look to go for with the timber cladding.

we sit under the plastic sheeting in the winter and move to the BBQ side in the warmer months.

There will be lots more updates soon. Construction will start on Friday, and we’ve booked a carpet layer to come next week. We’re still organising an electrician.

All materials for the shed arrived today. That’s everything in a compact yet heavy little pile – not including doors and windows.
Work started on construction this afternoon, but hasn’t progressed very far. I’ll post some more photos tomorrow when there’s something more to show.
