I just finished my first XML driven file, and I’m about to upload it.

I know that when I upload the preview file, The FLA must be name “preview”.

My question is:

What about the XML file that comes along with it? And the images loaded dynamically for the preview? Do they need to be named in a certain way?

No, they don’t need to be named in a certain way :)
Good luck with your file!

No, you should add the preview.fla, the preview.swf and the index.html file if the preview is full screen… then all your assets with their original names (xml files, folders and everything else)

Good job!

Nice! Reminds me of my first attempt at XML , never stopped using it :D I always remove the xml for preview though, just place arrays in the AS. Is that better or does it not matter?

Makes it slightly less rippable, but if its encrypted and locked to the domain then its quite a bit of effort anyway…

It’s actually an update for an existing item. What I have now is images inside arrays and it’s rather simple to work with. But many people asked for XML support, so I’m updating it for that.

Gonna do it for all my files now :)
