Hi,

was wondering were do you get images for your themes/templates. I saw some fantastic images, round here but just can’t get my hands on it. I use depositphotos and photodune. But would need something a bit more creative.

Cheers

Flickr is always a good choice. Deviantart too. Depends always on the license but most creators are ok if you want to use their work – most times it requires nothing than a credit with a link back.

Flickr images with a ‘Creative Commons’ licence is always the best.
There’s a custom search for the ‘Creative Commons’ made by Envato …

After trying Flickr or Deviant we realized that the cheapest solution is to purchase some stock photography images. You’ll spend so much time crawling flickr & deviant and then checking each individual one for individual terms & conditions. It’s waste of time.

Yea that’s true, but nice images are usually not allowed to be used for commercial purposes.
