Hi guys,

I was speaking about some other authors here on TF, and found that it would be amazing if an author can choose to have his template “soft-rejected” instead of accepted in case the reviewer finds the item fit.

This would be good because:

1. You could check if your theme is good enough before working endless hours to make everything pixel-perfect. As we all know this, details are the ones which take the most time.

2. Updates wouldn’t go live 3 days after the first item is accepted, so buyers who buy the item in those first 2-3 days won’t “suffer” having to go through the same customization work just to have the item’s last release.

3. less submissions (updates) for the Reviewers to have a look at.

4. Much better themes, because people won’t say “Let’s see if they accept it and then make it look perfect”

I know it’s down to mentality to make everything look perfect before the first submission, but which one of us didn’t submit something at least once just to…”test the waters”?

Cheers Andrei

So let’s see..you submit it in order to soft reject it yourself? This is a joke, right? When you submit it, it’s ready, it WON’T be accepted if it’s not ready, ThemeForest is not a place where you can play like let’s put the theme online today, tomorrow let’s hide it, next week let’s put it online again.

Let our themes go to TF review queue only when ‘We’ are sure that we are ‘100% Done’ :) Cheers!
