I guess this is no problem but just to be clear:

Can I included one of my item in an other item?

With all documentation and stuff?

Yes, you can. For example, HTML templates that are also being sold as PSD , include the PSD files.

PSDs included in HTML /WP are fine (since we’re talking about the same design). Everybody does that and it’s good for buyers, since they will also get the PSD to edit their related theme.

But how would it be fair for fellow authors to sell 2 completely different WP themes under a single item?

I don’t think the latter is allowed; haven’t seen any ‘bundles’ around. Also, wouldn’t bundling skyrocket the price? (especially for WP) And if it wouldn’t, we’re still talking about being unfair, so I guess it isn’t allowed.

So I believe we’re talking about different versions of the same item?

Will someone from staff clear this question? I’m curious too.

IMO , bundling would destroy the consistency of the marketplaces. And this consistency (especially with pricing) is, among other things, what made the Envato marketplaces the ‘ecosystem’ they are today.

I really don’t think bundling of totally unrelated files will ever be accepted. Authors would obviously expect a significant price increase, which would lead to what I just described.

That’s why the only author allowed to sell bundles ever seen to sell bundles is this guy.

my 2 cents…

That is already a violation of this rule: ““If a series of very similar items are already in the library””.

And also of this one: “You must NOT upload items that have been decompiled or otherwise reconstructed from another item (even if that item is your own).”

It should also fail the uniqueness criteria during the review process.

3 strikes. Out! :P
