Sure, at least CS5 is the way to go. it’s much powerful and stable than its predecessor. Those cannot create 2540×1850 buffer error days are far away in the past

This is the ONLY problem with OpenSesame. It’s a matter of 1-2 hours to fix it. I’ve successfully converted a ton of projects from CS5 and 6.
If you’re lazy, stay on CS3 then….

Hey, hey wait a minute there!
I haven’t tried CS5 on this pc yet to know how much faster CS5 is, but I’ve enabled Multuprocessing for CS4 with 2.8gb per CPU . I’m running on a quadcore, so it’s 4 times faster than my previous one that didn’t have multiprocessing on.
I’d be really happy if CS5 is even faster than this, but i’m quite happy with the speed on CS4 now.
