I am pretty new to In-design and I have been working on some files at work, and on some of them the is little blue dot between all the words showing the spacing.
I then open a file today to work on and it did not have the blue dots. could anyone tell me how I get them back as it makes life a lot easier!
Many thanks

It does not seem to work for me, i am using CS5
In the main menu under ‘Type’ at the very bottom of a list is the option ‘Show hidden characters’
hope this helps

I LOVE YOU !
It worked thanks so much, one question I also have load of horizontal line running across the pages can I turn these off?
Best thing I have learned so far has to be “shift+enter” as before i was trying to do it by hand and it went very wrong.

That’s the baseline grid. You can turn it off: Ctrl + Alt + ‘
Alternatively Right Click -> Girds & Guides -> Hide Baseline Grid
