Inserting background image in a grid/column

I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to insert a background image in grid or column?

That is correct iamthwee. Bought a theme from an author offering little help and making it sound like a lifetime favour. If you know what I mean.

If your theme is based on skeleton framework then add class “scale-with-grad” to the img tag and it will scale as required.

Edit: My tip is for inline images not for background images.

Thanks thememates. Sounds frightening but will give it a go.
