Instagram has just blogged about bringing ads to the Instagram feed.
Here’s their blog post:
As an Instagram user, I support Instagram to make money through ads but at the same time I hate to see unrelated ads on my Instagram feed.
What do you think?
I hope not !
Not yay or nay. Inevitable. FB is probably the benchmark.
Just hope it’s done with some class
I don’t want to be THAT guy, and I’m sure everyone here has heard this a million times, but here goes: This is what is expected when you are the product, if you pay for the service like ADN then this stuff will never happen.
I think a lot of people misunderstood ADN at the very beginning, they thought it was just a Twitter clone without ads, but in fact it can b the infrastructure behind any social network.

After all, any website, social or not, brings ads or adds fees when they start to have millions of visitors. It’s the way it goes, we live in an industrial society where when you produce something, you need some money in return…
I don’t mind ads so much as long as they don’t try to plant themselves in my computer.
Instagram needs ads in order to survive. Like any other free service out there. This is just how the internet works.
