I want to buy a theme here at themeforest for a new company that will be founded soon. The name and the logo of the company will be finished in around 2 weeks but I would love to write some articles and edit the design earlier.

Is it possible to install the theme on a “test”- domain (because the “real” domain with the name of the company will be registered later). After that I’m going to transfer the databases the theme. The “test”-domain will be deleted then.

Do I have the rights to do it this way or do I only get the rights for a one time installation?

Thank you for your answers!

Have a great evening.

It must be ok, it’s the only way I ever do it…I think the agreement is installation on one domain…however, if you removed it from one domain and put it on another, you still only have technically one domain installation of the theme. You just can’t leave it on your test domain after you’ve moved it to the real client’s site obviously.
