Hello,

I’m currently building a wordpress blog which is going to be on sale on themeforest. I’ve done the coding and everything… But I’m not good in integrating shortcodes in the theme.

So here’s the deal, anyone who would be interested in doing this simple job for me, will get 40% of EACH sale generated of the theme on themeforest… Or if he would like to do this as freelance job then let me know your offers..

Cheers,

This shouldn’t be too difficult at all if you’ve coded everything.

The API is easy to follow:

http://codex.wordpress.org/Shortcode_API

Or you could even install the Shortcodes ultimate plugin and reverse engineer it so it fits seamlessly into your theme instead of as a plugin.

Send me an email if you’re interested and I’ll do it free because it’s an easy job.

Just head over to codecanyon and buy the same shortcode thing that everybody else is using.

Dude, don’t give up 40% just for some shortcodes. It is too easy to implement especially if you managed to code everything else. Just reverse engineer some other code.

Hi please check your email.

While I can’t code all the shortcodes for you theme, I’ve give you a quick example, but to be fair it’s all written in the WP documentation.

I couldn’t access your functions.php file which is ideally where you would put the script so I added it to your header.php

<?php /*Quick short code test snippet*/
function piecemaker_shortcode( $atts, $content = null )
{
 return '<div id="piecemaker?>';
}

add_shortcode( 'piecemaker', 'piecemaker_shortcode');

?>

So if you add [piecemaker][/piecemaker] to anywhere on your blogs it pulls out the html code.

Hope that helps. ;)
